The Resource Planning Executive supports the creation and maintenance of accurate workforce plans, rosters and training schedules that underpin British Airways’ flying programme.
Work Pattern
Roles are typically Monday to Friday; weekend work may be required on a rostered basis. Working hours range between 07:00 and 19:30. Shift‑based roles offer an additional shift allowance.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain resource, training and roster plans for operationally critical teams
- Ensure plans for critical teams across our Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Heathrow business areas are accurate, compliant and aligned to operational requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across planning, training and the wider business to support resourcing needs
- Produce reporting and analyse data to monitor performance and identify improvements
- Maintain high data quality across systems and provide planning‑related administrative support
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and efficient delivery of planning processes

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders – Essential
- Experience working with data, reporting tools or planning systems, with strong attention to detail – Essential
- Demonstrated ability to apply SOPs, maintain accuracy and ensure consistent delivery against deadlines – Essential
- Emotionally resilient and adaptable, able to work effectively in a fast‑moving and changing environment – Essential
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively and manage conflicting demands – Essential
- Personable and approachable, with the ability to support colleagues and share best practice – Desirable
