Join British Airways' Legal Directorate as a Privacy Analyst in our Data Privacy team. This is a key role helping protect the personal data of our customers and colleagues across a truly global airline. What you'll do:

  • Handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), using sound judgement and attention to detail to deliver accurate, timely responses.
  • Apply your knowledge of data protection laws to meet legal deadlines with confidence.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer with privacy queries from across the business.
  • Help complete Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and turn risks into practical solutions.
  • Support privacy tooling, reporting, and training to build awareness across BA.
  • Keep Privacy intranet content clear, current and useful.

What you'll bring:

  • You're curious, organised, and motivated to learn.
  • You care about data privacy and protection and understand why the laws behind it matter.
  • You're comfortable working with sensitive information, happy collaborating with others, and not afraid to ask questions.
  • You don't need to know everything already - but you do bring a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to develop!

Your experience:

  • Experience in a regulated environment, ideally handling personal or sensitive data.
  • Experience or strong awareness of data privacy and data protection, including UK data protection laws.
  • Understanding of the legal framework behind privacy obligations.
  • Ability to juggle priorities while staying accurate and confidential.
  • Experience with tools like OneTrust and/or Microsoft Office is a plus.
