Join our Storage & Distribution team and keep British Airways Engineering moving. If you're organised, detail‐driven, and eager to learn, we'll give you full training to succeed. We handle, store, and deliver aircraft tools and materials across our global network—acting as the vital link between Supply Chain and Production Engineering. Our Storage and Distribution team runs 24/7, 365 days a year, so no two shifts are ever the same!
As an Aircraft Material Supplier, you'll be at the heart of the Storage & Distribution operation. This hands‐on varied role demands safety, precision, attention to detail and customer focus. You'll quality‐check, receipt, issue, and dispatch materials and tooling, deliver critical aircraft parts across Heathrow in 3.5‐ton vans, and operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and storage.

- Salary starting at £27,314 per annum, with the potential to achieve a qualified pay rate of £30,866.
- Shift pay: £4,645 per year for 12‐hour day shifts (4 days on 4 days off) and £10,297 per year for 12‐hour night shifts (4 nights on 4 nights off).
- Training & Development: Up to 4 weeks induction including health & safety, forklift driving, manual handling, shadowing and more.
What you'll do:
- Transact aircraft materials and tools in accordance with the current technical procedures and processes.
- Deliver, move and distribute materials/tools to meet the needs of the operation.
- Ensure good store‐keeping practices and quality standards are always maintained to a high level.
- Responsible for compliance with health & safety, environment and quality legislation.
- Maintain stock accuracy via a cyclic audit process.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Provide expertise in relation to Dangerous Goods & Road Transportation regulations (where relevant IATA/ADR course certification/knowledge is held).
- Receipt aircraft materials into British Airways Engineering in accordance with the privileges granted under approval of being an MIA stamp holder.
- Exercise personal responsibility and reasonable care in preventing harm to yourself and others by ensuring that safe working practices are always observed.
What you'll bring:

Your experience:
- Essential: Level 2 Qualifications (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Already hold or ability to qualify for an Airside Pass.
- Already hold or ability to acquire a Counterbalance forklift licence and additional truck licences (with training).
- Ability to meet BA medical requirements for obtaining the necessary licences/permits.
Preferred:
- Knowledge in supply chain warehousing/stores processes.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Road Transportation regulations.
Desirable:
- Full UK DVLA Driving licence, category B for manual transmission (minimum of 12 months driving experience with a full licence and no more than three penalty points).
- Already hold or ability to obtain an Airside Driving Permit (with training).
- IATA/ADR course certification relating to Dangerous Goods.
