The British Airways Finance Graduate Scheme gives graduates immediate responsibility across business‑partnering areas of the British Airways business. Graduates will work on investment decisions for onboard products, analyse commercial decisions for network growth opportunities, and negotiate with a vast supplier network to maintain cost competitiveness.
As finance evolves, you will operate in an organization that combines strong commercial judgment with the use of AI‑enabled tools and autonomous digital agents. This includes supervising, challenging and validating AI‑supported analysis and processes within a secure, transparent, traceable and auditable regulatory framework.
Responsibilities
You will immediately enter the first of three roles with real responsibility, working across different finance teams, balancing traditional analytical skills with new capabilities in data, automation and AI governance.
You will gain exposure to how modern finance teams balance analytical and business partnering skills with technology, helping shape the future of finance at one of the world’s leading airlines.
Qualifications
Minimum of a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) or above in any subject. You should be commercially aware, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate an ability to influence others. Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to tackle business challenges in creative and strategic ways are required. You must be curious and adaptable, excited by how AI and emerging technologies can enhance finance, while recognising the importance of human judgment, governance, accountability and ethical decision‑making. You should also be able to operate effectively in technology‑enabled environments, including supervising AI‑assisted workflows and automated processes.
