What you'll do:
- Reports to Head of Operations and is part of BAMG & BAEG leadership team
- Nominated Post-holder for BAMG CAA Approval
- Liaise directly with the CAA (and other aviation regulators if required) on all regulatory issues.
- Liaise directly with the HSE / safety regulatory bodies as required.
- Liaise directly with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers to ensure all work performed for or by BAMG & BAEG is completed i.a.w. BAMG & BAEG and customer requirements.
- Lead and develop the Compliance Team at BAMG & BAEG.
- Manage the training budget for BAMG & BAEG and ensure necessary training is delivered to meet the regulatory requirements of CAA, HSE and BA corporate policies within the budget allocated to training.
- Liaise directly with local colleges / agencies in the development of other training opportunities.
- Manage the BAMG Safety Management System, manage and control the BAMG & BAEG Audit Plan
- Manage and control the BAMG & BAEG CAA Part 145 authorisation system
- Manage the BAMG & BAEG occurrence reporting programme and BAMG & BAEG Safety Action Group (SAG)
- Control the BAMG & BAEG MOE and Work Instructions.
- Represent BAMG & BAEG at all internal airworthiness and safety meetings
- To ensure all incidents accidents and near misses are fully investigated and satisfactory preventive/corrective actions are introduced.

Your experience:
- Engineering degree, Part 66 Category B or C Licence or equivalent level of experience/management qualification (essential)
- Formal auditing qualification (essential)
- Suitability to be a nominated post-holder (essential)
- Good understanding of aircraft and component maintenance and supply chain/logistics within the aviation industry (essential)
- Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation and application (essential)
- Excellent auditing, investigation and interview skills (desirable)
- Proven ability of delivering savings/improvements through Lean techniques (desirable)
