What you'll do:

  • Drive and continuously improve BA's financial control framework, ensuring it remains robust, fit for purpose and aligned to business processes.
  • Partner with senior leaders and IAG to implement group control requirements, while reporting control performance and key risks to leadership and the Board.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and IT to strengthen controls across finance systems and support delivery of key control initiatives.
  • Own the monitoring and resolution of External Audit, Internal Audit and other compliance actions, ensuring issues are addressed and governance standards are upheld.
  • Supervise and improve business‑wide controls, including Employee Approval Authority frameworks, while supporting training and audit activity.

Your experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
  • Experience in a complex business, audit or controls role
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and audit processes
  • Experience working with IT on finance systems
  • Familiarity with SAP, BWise or Surecloud (desirable)
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
