The Role: DevSecOps Specialist
Join our forward-thinking Cyber Architecture team at British Airways as a DevSecOps Specialist. In this vital role, you\’ll be at the forefront of integrating cyber security into every facet of our digital platforms. Partnering closely with our Cyber and Digital teams, you will help ensure our digital landscape remains resilient, secure, and aligned with cutting-edge development practices.
Responsibilities

With a focus on application security, you\’ll provide expert cyber leadership across all BA development teams, embedding application security into our web and mobile platforms.

Secure and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, promoting consistent adoption of secure practices across diverse teams.

Champion the vulnerability management process, driving secure development awareness and practices.

Evaluate, implement, and support new security tools and features, enabling measurable improvement across platforms and development functions.

Define and implement security testing strategies to support agile delivery while aligning with BA\’s secure development objectives.

Lead cyber digital reviews, ensuring alignment with cyber principles and consistent high-quality outcomes.

Influence and engage stakeholders across British Airways and IAG Tech to embed cyber security from design through to delivery.

Contribute to BA\’s cyber security guilds, fostering innovation and consistency in our digital security approach.

Act as a subject matter expert for the Cyber Delivery Assurance Team, offering guidance across all aspects of digital security.

Support cyber change initiatives and provide flexible support across team priorities when needed.
