The Role: Logistics Controller
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 annum depending on experience
The Logistics team operates our main warehouse close to London City Airport, as well as a Line Stores on the airport, and also supports maintenance work at the various outstations. This role involves shift work responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Stores facilities, including routine housekeeping, receiving and shipping deliveries across our network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in ensuring that all stores tasks are controlled and monitored in accordance with CAA requirements
- Accounting for all stock movement into and out of stores
- Supporting the Lead Logistics Controller to ensure that all material tasks are properly controlled
- Ensuring all goods, incoming and outgoing are accurately processed
- Supporting all AOG requests
- Carrying out all tasks in accordance with BA CityFlyer procedures and processes
- Controlling all transactions on our stock system
- Completing customs paperwork and declarations as required for all shipments
- Assisting with any other projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
About you
- Will need to be self-motivated, able to work on own initiative without supervision
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to prioritise various tasks
- Stores experience and knowledge of Dangerous Goods are desirable but not essential
- Will need to hold a full UK driving license (including Category B, manual), and will require you to obtain a Company Stores Inspector approval

This role is Monday to Friday, standard 37.5 hour week, overtime is payable depending on operational requirements.
