About the opportunity

With a newly granted e-money license, authorized by the FCA, the company is set for enabling the business and start transacting in the UK. To support this pivotal stage in our journey, we are seeking an ambitious Head of Finance to implement the finance processes in the UK, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial and operational success of our UK entity.

What you will do

  • Regulatory and Financial Compliance: You will build and execute our daily UK finance operations. In collaboration with headquarters, manage day-to-day treasury tasks, including safeguarding accounts, daily reconciliations, and liquidity planning, to ensure strict FCA compliance. Act as the local liaison for auditors and regulators, preparing and submitting statutory reports while adapting Group finance processes to the new UK entity.
  • Financial Strategy and Analysis: Prepare regular financial reports for senior leadership that highlight key performance metrics and operational risks. Work closely with the Group finance team to handle local budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help execute the broader company strategy within the UK entity.
  • Risk Management: Keep a close eye on daily financial risks, particularly those related to liquidity and foreign exchange, and suggest practical ways to mitigate them. Support the local compliance team to ensure all financial processes meet strict AML and risk management standards.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: As a reliable partner to both the UK business and our Swedish headquarters, help align our financial goals across departments. Foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture and work hand-in-hand with the central finance team to keep daily finance operations efficient and perfectly aligned.
