Our Salford-based client is looking for a compassionate and customer-focused Collections Advisor to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Collections Advisor, you will

  • Handle inbound calls from customers, providing support and agreeing tailored repayment solutions.
  • Conduct income and expenditure assessments to identify the most appropriate outcome for each customer.
  • Deliver a professional, empathetic service while achieving individual and team objectives.
  • Accurately update customer records and maintain detailed case notes.
  • Work in line with FCA regulations, internal procedures and service level agreements.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the Collections Advisor role, you'll have

  • Previous experience in a telephone-based collections role, including conducting income and expenditure assessments and setting up payment arrangements.
  • Experience working with mortgage products.
  • A background in a contact centre or other telephone-based customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage sensitive conversations professionally and empathetically.
  • Experience working to targets and KPIs.
  • Confidence operating within a regulated environment.
