A rapidly growing organisation with a strong presence at the heart of the local community is seeking an experienced people manager to oversee a small cluster of branches.
In this role, you'll lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently, company standards are consistently upheld and customers receive the highest level of care and support.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a General Manager your key duties will include
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring consistently high service standards, operational efficiency and an excellent customer experience.
- Manage, develop and support a high-performing team through regular communication, performance management, training and resource planning.
- Drive business growth by building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and external stakeholders, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards, ensuring a safe, professional and well-managed working environment.
- Contribute to commercial success by managing budgets, monitoring performance, controlling costs and supporting the achievement of financial and operational targets.
- WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To be considered for the role of General Manager, you must
- Bring proven experience in a managerial role within a customer/ service-based environment e. g. retail or hospitality.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a range of individuals.
- Be commercially aware, with strong numeracy and problem-solving skills, alongside excellent attention to detail.
- Experienced in collaborating with teams and supporting operational success, with the ability to coach and develop others where required.
