You'll take ownership of business growth across a large territory covering the North of England and Scotland, spending four days a week in the field building strong customer relationships, supporting product adoption and identifying new opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maternity Sales Specialist, you will

  • Manage a large sales territory, including regular travel, overnight stays and flexible working where required.
  • Promote a market-leading maternity portfolio, including an innovative AI-powered device, to NHS and private healthcare customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with midwives, obstetricians, gynaecologists, procurement teams and other key stakeholders while identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans, providing regular pipeline, sales activity and forecasting updates.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education and training to healthcare professionals, working collaboratively with internal clinical and commercial teams to support successful implementation and ongoing customer success.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and stay up to date with NHS priorities, maternity pathways, competitor activity and market developments to maximise sales performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • To be considered for the Maternity Sales Specialist role, you should have:
  • Experience in either medical sales or a clinical role within maternity, obstetrics, gynaecology or women's health.
  • A strong understanding of the UK healthcare market and NHS stakeholder landscape.
  • A proven ability to build trusted relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness with a passion for developing new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Experience selling or supporting medical devices is desirable, although applications from clinical specialists looking to transition into medical sales are equally welcomed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver product training and clinical support.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel across the territory, including occasional overnight stays.
