A reputable and mission driven, global organisation is looking for a Reward Specialist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for the analysis of internal pay structures, conducting external benchmarking and ensuring compliance with reward policies and governance. The role offers the opportunity to get involved with both delivery and the formation of strategy and would suit someone looking to gain greater exposure.
BENEFITS
This role allows 25-days holiday, plus bank holidays with the option to buy an additional 5 days, 10% employer pension contributions, life assurance and more. Hybrid working is offered with the need to be in the Cardiff office twice per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with the wider reward team to support the implementation of the total reward strategy.
- Be responsible for cyclical activities including annual pay reviews, benefits benchmarking and the periodic review of hire packages.
- Take ownership of all external benchmarking utilising external suppliers.
- Support the annual workforce planning exercise.
- Support regional people teams and other stakeholders with reward queries.
- Assist with external supplier management including reviews, invoicing and renewals.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience within a Reward role, confident running compensation and benefits processes.
- Experience of job evaluation methods.
- Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUP, IF formulas and pivot tables and the ability to manipulate data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach/style.
- Knowledge of Hay Grade and/or other job grading systems.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines, with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
