With connections to over 3,800+ banks, Brite enables consumers to pay directly from their bank account (also known as Pay by Bank) in real-time. With no signup or card details required, users authenticate using their bank’s usual ID method, which is not only convenient and secure but provides merchants with fast fund settlement, zero chargebacks, and reduced costs. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Brite operates across 27 European markets, utilising local payment rails, open banking, and our own proprietary infrastructure, Brite Instant Payments Network (IPN).
About The Opportunity
With a newly granted e-money license, authorized by the FCA, the company is set for enabling the business and start transacting in the UK.
What You Will Do
- Regulatory and Financial Compliance: In this role, you will build and execute our daily UK finance operations. You will in collaboration with headquarters manage day-to-day treasury tasks, including safeguarding accounts, daily reconciliations, and liquidity planning, to ensure strict FCA compliance. Acting as the local liaison for auditors and regulators, you will prepare and submit statutory reports while seamlessly adapting Group finance processes to the new UK entity.
- Financial Strategy and Analysis: You will prepare regular financial reports for senior leadership that highlight key performance metrics and operational risks. Working closely with the Group finance team, you will handle local budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help execute the broader company strategy within the UK entity.
- Risk Management: You will keep a close eye on daily financial risks, particularly those related to liquidity and foreign exchange, and suggest practical ways to mitigate them. Alongside this, you will support the local compliance team to ensure all our financial processes meet strict AML and risk management standards.
- Leadership and Collaboration: As a reliable partner to both the UK business and our Swedish headquarters, you will help align our financial goals across departments. You will foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture and work hand-in-hand with the central finance team to keep daily finance operations efficient and perfectly aligned.
