Salary: £95 – £120 per day (PAYE or Umbrella options available)

Hours: 08:15 – 15:30 (Term Time Only)

About the Role
Brite Education is currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a network of supportive secondary schools in Wigan and Warrington. This role is ideal for individuals with school-based experience who are looking for flexible work, consistent placements, and the opportunity to build relationships with local schools.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task in the absence of the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
- Manage behaviour confidently and effectively
- Support students in completing assigned work
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months’ experience working in a UK secondary school setting
- Confident classroom management skills
- Availability for at least 3 days per week
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
