Job Purpose
The Production Intern will support the administrative processes associated with commissioned and co-commissioned projects, while assisting the programming team throughout the full production lifecycle - from development through to final delivery - working closely with Marketing and Press, Creative, Content Delivery and our external partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across commissioned and co-commissioned productions
- Assist in tracking project progress from development through to final delivery
- Maintain production documents, schedules, and internal tracking systems
- Support the coordination of marketing assets and materials with external production partners
- Help organise meetings, taking notes, and following up on action points
- Assist with preparing SOP and other presentations documents for the programming team
- Liaise with internal teams to support production workflows
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support the wider team
Knowledge and Experience
- A strong interest in television production, media, or broadcasting
- Some relevant experience (e.g. work experience, coursework or student projects) in production, media, or administrative roles
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling documentation and deliverables
- Good communication skills, with confidence interacting with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
