We are looking for reliable team members to join our Betting team at Salisbury Racecourse and beyond. You would be working in the restaurants, lounges and public areas of the racecourse, servicing customers who would like to bet with us. Salisbury or Wincanton Racecourse must be your closest racecourse to apply for this role.
Who are we looking for?
- Applicants 18+
- Drivers who are keen to travel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with cash confidently/good mental arithmetic
- No prior experience needed as paid training is provided
- Can commit to Cheltenham Festival 10th-13th March (travel pay, accommodation and meals provided)
What does the role entail?
- You will place the customers' bet/s on the till on live race days at the racecourse
- Pay out winnings to customers who present you with a winning ticket
- Cash handling effectively
- Confident talking to customers and providing a welcoming service
