An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant at one of the World’s leading audio rental companies. Britannia Row Productions Ltd, part of the Clair Global group, provides audio services to the entertainment industry and retains an impressive client list. We supply high end audio equipment and skilled audio engineers to music tours, sporting and corporate events around the world.
The Accounts Assistant will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for Accounts Receivable for the UK brands of the Clair Global Group. This includes the following:
- Raising and posting sales invoices/credit notes for all UK brands
- Liaising with Sales Team to ensure invoices are raised on time
- Sending invoices to clients
- Dealing with client invoice queries
- Update of Sales Reports
- Maintaining Lost Quotes Report including any queries
- Credit Control
- Regular reporting to Financial Controller on Credit Control
- Daily bank reconciliations for multiple currencies
- Cover for Accounts Payable
Person Specification
Skills, knowledge and Experience
- 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with credit control and raising invoices
- AAT ideal, but otherwise minimum of A-level qualifications

- Possess good oral and written communication.
- Possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work with colleagues of all levels including non-finance members of staff.
- The ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Be ambitious, self-motivated and energetic with a willingness to take on increased responsibilities.

- Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
