We are a leading provider of professional audio systems for live events, concerts, festivals, broadcast and corporate events across the UK and Europe. Our team delivers high-quality sound solutions to some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our logistics team. This is a full-time role with variable working hours and days (Monday to Sunday), in line with operational requirements and tachograph regulations. Our typical working week is 40 hours, but actual hours may vary week to week. Start time will also vary so a degree of flexibility is essential.

Job Purpose: To safely transport professional audio and PA equipment to and from event locations, venues, and warehouses, ensuring timely delivery and secure handling of sensitive equipment. You will play a vital role in supporting event logistics and contributing to the success of live productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate HGVs (Class 2) to deliver audio equipment to event sites across the UK
  • Load and unload equipment with care, ensuring secure stowage and compliance with load regulations
  • Complete delivery paperwork, vehicle checks, and maintain accurate transport logs
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in good condition and report any issues promptly. Conduct basic checks of the vehicle as per driver check software
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, crew, and event managers to coordinate logistics
  • Adhere to all driving regulations, tachograph rules, and company safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid clean HGV Class 2 license with CPC qualification
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably in the events or entertainment sector
  • Basic understanding of audio equipment handling (advantageous but not essential)
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and long shifts during event seasons within tachograph rules
  • Excellent time management and a calm, professional attitude under pressure
  • Demonstrates strong, professional communication skills when interacting with customers, suppliers and the operations team
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments
  • Passport and willingness to travel internationally if required
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience working on live events
  • Forklift license or other relevant certifications
  • Knowledge of logistics software or route planning tools
  • Team player with strong communication skills
