Senior Legal Counsel | Drive Legal Strategy in a Fast-Paced Pharma Business
How you will make an impact:
- Deliver legal strategy aligned to business goals and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear, commercial legal advice to senior stakeholders
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements
- Advise on pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI Code, PMCPA, GxP, and governance matters
- Support data protection strategy, including GDPR, DPIAs, and breach management
- Identify and mitigate legal risk across business operations
- Improve legal processes, contract governance, and team efficiency
- Partner closely with Medical, Commercial, Compliance, and Regulatory teams
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent)
- 8–12 years’ PQE
- Strong pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience
- Expertise in commercial contracts, pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI, PMCPA, GDPR, and UK data protection law
- Experience advising on prescription medicines, generics and/or OTC portfolios
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to operate at pace
- DPO experience desirable
