Senior Legal Counsel | Drive Legal Strategy in a Fast-Paced Pharma Business

How you will make an impact:

  • Deliver legal strategy aligned to business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Provide clear, commercial legal advice to senior stakeholders
  • Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements
  • Advise on pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI Code, PMCPA, GxP, and governance matters
  • Support data protection strategy, including GDPR, DPIAs, and breach management
  • Identify and mitigate legal risk across business operations
  • Improve legal processes, contract governance, and team efficiency
  • Partner closely with Medical, Commercial, Compliance, and Regulatory teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent)
  • 8–12 years’ PQE
  • Strong pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience
  • Expertise in commercial contracts, pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI, PMCPA, GDPR, and UK data protection law
  • Experience advising on prescription medicines, generics and/or OTC portfolios
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to operate at pace
  • DPO experience desirable
