We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Chef to join our team at The Waterside Hotel. This 105-bedroom Aberdeenshire hotel is conveniently located just 2 miles from the centre of Peterhead, with easy access to public transportation offering guests a comfortable stay and access to explore the nearby attractions of this charming coastal town.

Your main duties will include:

  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to prepare and present diverse buffet menus featuring a wide range of cuisines
  • Ensuring all menu items are fully stocked and replenished throughout service to maintain a seamless dining experience
  • Designing and rotating cost-effective menus that offer a wide variety of options that will meet guest expectations
  • Ensuring compliance with all hygiene, food safety, and quality standards at all times
  • Managing inventory, overseeing food deliveries, and maintaining effective stock control to support cost efficiency
