We have an exciting new vacancy for a Hotel General Manager to join our team at The Britannia Hotel Edinburgh. This 223-room hotel is ideally located in the West End. Our hotel is within easy reach of the city's major attractions and just a short walk from Haymarket train station.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading the hotel team by effectively managing the operations and sales team ensuring each department is supported and consistent in providing a high standard of service.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for operational improvement and revenue growth.
- Ensuring the hotel maintains compliance with industry standards and all health and safety requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing the guest experience while increasing revenue through innovative offerings and promotions.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience as a hotel general manager.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate a large team.
- A strong background in event management and managing venue spaces, with an ability to drive successful wedding and events as well as corporate bookings.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service ensuring each of our guests has a memorable stay.
