We have an exciting new vacancy for a Chef Manager to join our team at The Britannia Hotel in Manchester city centre! Our 363-room, Grade II listed hotel is ideally situated on the busy Portland Street, opposite Piccadilly Gardens bus station and just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station making it ideal for commuting.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Leading, motivating, and supporting the kitchen team to deliver excellent results
- Preparing and presenting a wide range of dishes, from à la carte menus to large-scale banquets and events
- Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods
- Planning and developing menus using fresh, seasonal produce while considering current food trends and dietary requirements
- Managing food costs, stock levels, ordering, and kitchen resources to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Monitoring food deliveries and maintaining effective stock control procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Managing staffing levels, rotas, and supporting team development and training
