Job Role
Bespoke Britannia has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable full‑time housekeeper to help run a private household based in Belgravia, London. The role reports directly to the International House Manager and Chief of Staff and requires flexibility to meet the demands of a large property.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensuring all rooms and common areas are maintained and cleaned to a high standard
- Changing linens and towels, and restocking amenities
- Managing household schedules and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Coordinating with contractors and assisting with various household tasks as needed
- Maintaining a professional and discreet approach at all times
- Preparing very light meals, mainly salads, etc., to assist when required
Requirements
- Experience working in a similar role within a large private household
- A clear understanding of timescales and proactive task completion
- Strong communication skills
- Self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Ability to work as part of a team, while using your own initiative
- Discreet and professional demeanour
- Flexibility to travel when required by the client
- 5–10 years of private housekeeping experience within the HNW sector
Working Hours & Benefits
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility required when the family are in residence
- A flat is provided, within walking distance (5 minutes) of the main residence in Belgravia
- Full‑time PAYE salary and excellent perks, pension, etc.
