The Financial Accountant for CIMAS Consulting will focus on treasury management, management accounts, daily reconciliations, and month-end reporting, with exposure to key regulatory reporting requirements including XTP, ICARA, K-factors, MiFID, and PRA regulations. CIMAS Consulting is the dedicated services company for Britannia Financial Group based from The Scalpel Building in Bishopsgate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare month-end management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage daily treasury operations and cash flow reporting.
- Perform daily reconciliations across bank, trading, and internal ledgers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Maintain, develop, and streamline accounting systems and processes.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (XTP, ICARA, K-factors, MiFID, PRA rules).
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors on audits and reviews.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Fully qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in regulated financial services accounting.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting, treasury, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: XTP, ICARA, K-factors, MiFID, PRA regulations highly desirable.
- Proficiency with accounting and financial systems; ability to implement improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
