We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and hard‑working Research Assistant to join our team, with a start date week commencing 13th July 2026. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday 9am–6pm with occasional evening work, and is a 6‑month internship designed as an introduction to insight and research. London Living Wage applies (pro rata, current rate £30,784).

Responsibilities

  • Providing logistical and analytical support on research projects, including liaising with recruiters to find suitable research participants, planning and setting up qualitative fieldwork sessions such as interviews and focus groups, attending analysis brainstorms, and supporting ad‑hoc tasks such as proofreading.
  • Doing AI‑driven thematic scoping, ensuring resources are accurate and effective.
  • Gaining exposure to all elements of research, including observing focus groups and contributing to analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and phone).
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Confidence in using AI LLM models (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini).
  • Creative and critical thinker, open to innovation.
  • Permission to work in the UK.
  • Preferable exposure to qualitative or quantitative research methodologies and office‑based environment experience.
  • Experience experimenting with new technology and AI models in work or study is welcomed.
