Delegated Authorities Business Partner
Responsibilities
- Sit at the centre of delegated underwriting activity, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure coverholders, binding authorities, and third‑party arrangements are managed effectively.
- Take ownership of approvals and renewals, handling complex applications and providing clear, confident guidance.
- Lead oversight activity across a diverse portfolio, reviewing arrangements, spotting trends, and driving improvements in procedures.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure consistency and quality, and produce insightful reporting that supports better decision making across the business.
- Play a key role in shaping and enhancing delegated underwriting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Support the rollout of new systems, regulatory changes, and wider transformation initiatives.
- Influence stakeholders and build strong relationships while partnering with underwriting divisions and engaging with brokers, service companies, and regulators to deliver positive outcomes.
