As part of Brit’s growing Global Specialty Team, the Graduate Actuarial Analyst position will give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to multiple lines of business, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive team.

During this two-year rotational programme, you’ll support reserving, pricing, and business planning activities, rotating between our Actuarial Function and Portfolio Insights teams. You’ll work with colleagues across underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and finance, helping to develop and deliver clear, actionable insights. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the production of reserving studies and regulatory reporting, preparing clear, insightful materials for stakeholders.
• Assist in technical pricing, performance monitoring, and segmentation reviews, providing actionable recommendations to the business.
• Collaborate across underwriting, claims, reinsurance, pricing, and finance teams to gather, validate, and analyse data.
• Help transform data and processes, improving quality, efficiency, and controls in reserving and pricing workflows.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture, providing and seeking feedback, and helping to streamline processes wherever possible.

What do I need?

We’re looking for candidates who have achieved or be on course for a 2:1 in a numerate discipline, keen to pursue the IFoA actuarial qualification and available to start September 2026. You’ll need analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams. Coding experience (VBA, SQL, R, Python) is a plus.
