What you’ll be doing
- You’ll apply scientific rigour to the design, evaluation and improvement of AI solutions that support our operational simplification strategy.
- Working across data, engineering and business teams, you’ll help shape and deliver proof of concepts using a blend of classical data science and modern generative and agentic AI methods, ensuring that solutions are grounded in evidence and aligned to real business needs.
- You’ll translate complex AI outputs into clear, accessible insights for stakeholders, helping turn technical findings into practical value across the business.
- You’ll play a key role in defining what good looks like for AI use cases, building evaluation frameworks, setting quality standards and improving confidence in how AI performs in real world scenarios.
- You’ll also contribute to the evolution of our AI capability by analysing model behaviour, identifying performance boundaries and supporting the development of best practices that can be scaled across the organisation.
- Alongside this, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues to continuously improve how we work, contributing to an agile, innovative environment where experimentation and learning are encouraged.
