Brit European is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our specialist heavy transport operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with vehicle recovery or car transporter experience looking for a permanent position with strong earning potential, modern equipment and long-term job security.

The Role
As part of our specialist transport team, you will transport commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK using the latest generation transporter equipment.
This is a rewarding role that offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work within a highly skilled transport operation.
Your responsibilities will include
- Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery nationwide
- Loading, securing and unloading vehicles safely
- Completing vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
- Ensuring full compliance with all transport and safety regulations
- Working safely at height when required
Please note this role operates specialist transporter vehicles fitted with transporter-sized cabs.
- Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday tramping
- Typical start times between 05:00 and 06:00
- Up to 4 nights out per week
- Permanent, year-round work
- What We’re Looking For
- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous car transporter or vehicle recovery experience preferred but not essential
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements
- Good level of physical fitness
- Comfortable working at height
- Professional attitude and strong attention to safety
