Applicants with Left-hand drive experience beneficial however not essential as Right-hand drive is also available.
Brit European have tramping vacancies available for an HGV Class One driver – this is driving low loader and step-frame trailers based in Rocester.
Please be aware this role is physically & mentally demanding, involves working at height, manual handling, working outside in all weathers and will involve extremely careful/difficult manoeuvring.
Your Shift
- This is a Monday to Friday European tramping role and will involve extensive nights away from home, this will include weekends on occasion.
Your Role
- Transporting agricultural & plant machinery around the EU and UK using premium low-loader trailers, step frame trailers and tractor units.
- Product loading and restraint.
- Completion of inspection, customs and delivery documentation.
- Driving Right and Left-hand drive HGVs

What we need from you
- HGV Class One licence
- HGV Class One Experience required: 2 years’ experience
- Current competency in agricultural/plant machinery transportation
- Current competency in UK-EU customs formalities, paperwork, permits and border security
- Current competency in convoi exceptional
- In Date CPC & Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
- A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height.
