A bit about us:

Bristows of Devon has a long history of making confectionery in the town of Crediton with its origins extending as far back as the 1870s. We make cut and wrapped toffee and fudge as well as bonbons and boiled sweets. We are the only company in the world that produces a dual coloured bonbon and the only UK supplier of toffee centred bonbons. Our delicious sweets are sold across wholesale and independent trade markets as well as being made for own label customers.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing / Factory Operator to join our dedicated team at our Crediton site. As part of our small Factory team (there's about 30 people on site at Crediton), you will play a crucial role in making, producing and packing our products. It’s a busy role and one where you’ll be involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that every sweet meets our rigorous quality standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Measuring and weighing ingredients
  • Operating equipment/machinery
  • Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard
  • Perform routine quality checks to maintain our high standards
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Contribute to achieving team KPIs by working efficiently and collaboratively
  • Adhere to Manual Handling practices as you will be dealing with heavy products and standing for long periods of time

Shift Details:

Hours: Full time hours are Monday to Friday, 6.15am to 3pm. Please note you must be able to get to our site in Crediton.
