We're recruiting for a Cloud Engineer to join a growing software business operating within a highly regulated environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting, maintaining and improving a modern Azure-based cloud platform that delivers critical services to customers across the UK. This role would suit someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving platform reliability and taking ownership of cloud infrastructure. You'll work within a collaborative technical team, helping to ensure systems remain secure, resilient and scalable as the business continues to grow.
The Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and services. You'll work across platform support, automation, monitoring, security and performance, helping to maintain a highly available production environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- Maintaining and optimising Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms
- Supporting containerised applications and services
- Investigating and resolving infrastructure and platform incidents
- Monitoring system performance, availability and security
