Bristow Holland is working with a well-established, international organisation to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a complex, enterprise-level IT environment spanning multiple locations across Europe.
You'll play a key role in supporting, optimising, and delivering both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, working on a mix of BAU support and project delivery.
The Role:
- Administer and optimise a Microsoft-based infrastructure across a multi-site environment
- Take ownership of complex troubleshooting across networking, servers, and virtual environments
- Act as the escalation point for high-level technical issues
- Manage and support enterprise compute and storage platforms
- Deliver infrastructure projects end-to-end, from design through to implementation and documentation
- Support and enhance security across the infrastructure estate
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line / Infrastructure Engineer role within an enterprise environment
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft environments
- Strong virtualisation experience (VMware vSphere, vCenter, Hyper-V)
- Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions (e.g. SAN/NAS, Veeam)
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
