We’re working with a growing technology business looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join its infrastructure team in a fully remote position. Alongside the salary, the role comes with an excellent benefits package, including an annual performance bonus of up to 10%. This is a hands-on role working within a predominantly Microsoft Azure environment, supporting business-critical production systems and helping improve the reliability, scalability and performance of the platform. The main technologies they’re looking for are Azure, Kubernetes, Linux and MongoDB, alongside a wider background across cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring and production support. Responsibilities: * Managing, maintaining and improving Azure cloud infrastructure * Supporting Kubernetes / AKS and containerised environments * Working across Linux production systems * Supporting environments using MongoDB / NoSQL * Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability and capacity * Troubleshooting complex cloud and infrastructure issues * Supporting incidents and carrying out root-cause analysis * Managing upgrades, patching and security updates * Using automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve environments * Working closely with development and wider technical teams Key Skills: * Microsoft Azure – VMs, AKS, App Services and Storage * Kubernetes * Linux * MongoDB / NoSQL * Azure DevOps and CI/CD * Terraform and/or Ansible * PowerShell, Python and/or Bash * Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus or Grafana * Cloud networking and security
