Bristow Holland is recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team and play a key role in improving cloud infrastructure, automation, and software delivery processes. Based in Colchester, this role offers a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Azure and Kubernetes experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to help drive DevOps best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications and services
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support engineering teams in delivering software faster and more reliably
- Promote DevOps best practices and a shift-left culture
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams
- Help ensure high standards of security, reliability, and performance
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on Azure experience, including AKS, App Services, Key Vault, networking, and storage
- Kubernetes experience within production environments
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and Helm
- Strong CI/CD experience, ideally with Azure DevOps
- Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Experience working within cross-functional engineering teams
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
