The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are currently seeking a UK AOC Compliance Engineer to join our busy UK team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Safety and Compliance Manager via the Compliance Lead and be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities meet the requirements of relevant legislation in line with company manuals, procedures and standards required by the CAA, EASA and Safety Management System.
Duties:
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, requirements, standards and procedures
- Ensure that Company processes and procedures are in place, adequate and effective
- Ensure the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Systems are maintained and documented
- Monitor progress of non-conformance through to resolution and conduct verification and validation of Corrective and Preventive actions
- Provide safety and compliance oversight of contracted and subcontracted suppliers, including remote and onsite audits as required
- Perform maintenance error investigations and compile a report identifying root cause factors and recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Will also be required to present investigation findings to Event Review Groups
- Assist the risk management process including hazard identification, risk analysis and risk mitigation
- Represent the company on behalf of Safety and Compliance Manager as client liaison
- Represent the company by acting as escort for regulatory and client audits
Requirements:
- Must have current right to reside and work in the UK
- Safety and/or aviation engineering background (Essential)
- Possess the relevant knowledge, background and appropriate experience related to the role with an understanding of the EASA and CAA aviation regulatory framework. Part 66, Part 145, Part CAMO and Part 147.
- Experience Risk and Performance based auditing
- Written presentation, analytic and IT skills with ability to compile technical reports
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) Principles and Practices
- Experience in the application of Safety and Risk management and auditing techniques
- Ability to travel throughout the UK at short notice
Qualifications:
- Proven auditing experience (Essential)
- CAA/EASA Pt 145, Pt66, Pt M /CAMO and Pt147 training (Desirable)
- AS9100/ISO 9001:2015 (Desirable)
- Safety Management System knowledge (Desirable)
- Maintenance Error Investigation experience (Desirable)
- Driving License (Essential)
