Job Description
Regional role maintaining and continuously improving Bristow Groups level of compliance & safety across the multi discipline areas of aviation in both rotary and unmanned operations.
The Ops Auditor is required to be highly motivated, safety conscious and capable of working effectively within the disciplined regional team. They must have a background in aviation with a broad understanding and experience in conducting audits.
Areas of responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
1. Conducting flight, ground, maintenance, and security audits on behalf of the UK AOCs.
2. Assisting in the management of all components of the Bristow Group Safety Management System, including, internal auditing and subcontractor control processes.
3. Aiding the AOCs to meet Ad Hoc tasking requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
4. Conducting investigation of incidents and near misses, with a focus on preventive and corrective actions.
5. Participating in flight and ground operation MOCs to ensure impact across the organisation is fully identified and meets regulatory requirements.
6. Conducting analysis and trending of safety events reported through ASRs, MSR\’s, GSRs, accident reports and shared information from other regions.
7. Engaging in emergency response activities including training exercises.
8. Representing the SMS Lead in Safety Action Groups as required.
9. Providing support to UK AOCs flight ops and ground ops personnel
10. To coordinate with the Ground Ops Duty Holder(s) on matters of Dangerous Goods.
