We invite applications for the Warehouse Manager position at Bristow Helicopters Ltd. The BHL Warehouse Manager is accountable for providing operational leadership across warehousing and logistics to support global Supply Chain operations. The role leads all warehouse activities (internal and contracted), ensuring safe, compliant, efficient and customer‑focused receipt, storage, inventory control and distribution of aircraft parts and materials. Primary focus is the Kintore regional hub and key locations across EMEA, including the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and the Falklands. This is an operations leadership role; hands‑on activity may be required on an exception basis to maintain business continuity.
Leadership & workforce management: Lead warehouse and logistics teams through local supervisors, setting expectations, priorities, and a positive safety and compliance culture.
Operational performance: Direct and support the team to deliver agreed service levels (including urgent/AOG requirements), productivity, and continuous improvement objectives.
Strategy & optimisation: Review and set the approach for internal and outsourced warehousing and distribution activities; identify efficiencies and opportunities to reduce holding, handling and transportation costs.
Budget & cost control: Manage and control operating expenditure; develop business cases for facility, process or equipment improvements where required.
Contract & stakeholder management: Provide advice and guidance to regional businesses and manage local warehousing/logistics contracts and third‑party performance.
Compliance & governance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and internal policies/procedures across warehousing and logistics operations.
Export & regulatory alignment: Work with the Export Compliance Manager and Logistics Manager to monitor regulatory requirements and implement robust processes that minimise business exposure.
Aviation stores control: Ensure aircraft parts are received, stored, controlled and issued/dispatch accurately and on time, including segregation of serviceable/unserviceable components and quarantine of discrepant material.
Inventory accuracy: Ensure cycle counts and stock evaluations are planned, completed and reviewed; drive corrective actions to maintain optimum inventory accuracy and ERP alignment.
Dangerous Goods readiness: Ensure Dangerous Goods packing and documentation capability is maintained (competence, procedures, checks) for air/sea/road shipments, as applicable.
Stock integrity controls: Ensure shelf‑life monitoring and timely action in line with procedures; monitor movement timeframes for serviceable and returns material to support operational needs.
Housekeeping & HSE: Ensure stock locations are clean, tidy, clearly identified and organised to support safe, efficient picking, checking, counting and packing.
Business continuity: Provide additional leadership support to other regions as required and ensure coverage plans are in place for absence/peak demand.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential: Proven warehouse/logistics operations leadership experience, including leading teams through supervisors/team leads.
- Essential: Strong working knowledge of inventory control principles and audit‑ready stores processes (traceability, quarantine/segregation, shelf‑life control).
- Essential: Competence using ERP systems for warehouse transactions and reporting (SAP/Ramco preferred).
- Desirable: Degree‑qualified or equivalent experience in warehousing/logistics/supply chain.
- Desirable: Forklift licence (B1 Counterbalance up to 5 tonnes) or willingness to obtain.
- Desirable: Dangerous Goods packing certification (air/sea/road) appropriate to role responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable experience in a warehouse/logistics operations management role with accountability for safety, compliance, service and cost.
- Experience managing and developing staff (setting objectives, coaching, performance management, and building a positive culture).
- Experience with international freight forwarding and distribution, including export licensing (as applicable), customs declarations, high‑value shipments, and third‑party/contract management.
- Proven experience driving inventory accuracy through cycle counting, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- ERP experience (SAP/Ramco preferred) including transaction discipline and operational reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (and Word/PowerPoint as needed).

- Flexible to support business needs and provide leadership cover across locations when required.
