Atlas Professionals is looking for a Depot Assistant to work for our Client based in Middlesbrough Port.
Duties:
To control the receipt, storage and issue of the company\'s equipment in a state that is credible to the Company.
- Day to day safer operation of the base/ site and ensuring the safety of all those working and visiting therein.
- Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety regulations in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ensure schedules and deadlines are adhered to.
- Ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Communicate and implement change as directed.
- Ensure all goods and deliveries are handled accurately.
- Collate goods for dispatch and ensure they are prepared correctly.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily monitoring, stocktaking and audits
- Demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
- To ensure that the base/site facility is maintained in a clean and tidy manner, with all equipment securely and logically stored.
- Ensure all shipments arriving and leaving the base have received the proper quality controls and documentation checks.
- All items subject to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations are handled and stored in a safe and secure manner.
Accept elements of flexibility in duties and responsibilities meeting the changing needs and demands of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
· QCF Level 2 Warehouse Operations
· Forklift Operators Certificate – NPORS B1, B2 and B3
· IPAF Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b)
· Novice certification in Overhead Crane operation
Minimum Experience :
· Promoting high standards of customer experience
· Operating in a controlled assets environment
· Knowledge on basic use of IT systems, such as Microsoft Office
· Experience with transportation and logistics
Additional Info:
- 3 Month Rolling Contract
- 10 Hour days, Monday - Friday, need to be flexible for weekend work which is paid at the day rate
