Bristol Zoological Society, the conservation and education charity that runs and operates Bristol Zoo Project, is recruiting a Landscapes Supervisor. The Landscapes Supervisor is a crucial role responsible for keeping the Bristol Zoo Project looking its absolute best and ensuring that the animals that call the site home are provided with a constant supply of fresh browse.
In this hands-on role, you will be directly responsible for the creation and maintenance of hard and soft landscapes across the Bristol Zoo Project site. You will also be tasked with the delivery of minor projects and assisting the Projects team with the delivery of larger capital works.
You will work directly with the Facilities, Maintenance and Projects teams to prioritise and address requests, using our helpdesk system to streamline workflow and respond efficiently to service needs. There will also be close collaboration with the Animal Department to meet daily browse requirements, provide enrichment and assist with the implementation of welfare initiatives.
Your role will include supervising our team of Landscapes Operatives, supporting the team in their day-to-day operations, as well as working closely with contractors on site to deliver high-quality outcomes in line with our standards.
