Join our team today. About the Role At Bristol Water, we are proud to provide safe, high-quality drinking water to our customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We're looking for a Water Quality Technician to join our Scientific Services Team, playing a vital role in protecting public health and ensuring compliance with water quality regulations.
This is a field based role where you'll be responsible for collecting and analysing water samples across our network and customer properties. You'll be the eyes and ears of our Water Quality Team, helping us maintain the highest standards of drinking water quality while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Be Doing As a Water Quality Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and managing daily sampling routes across the Bristol Water network. Collecting water samples from company assets and customer properties. Undertaking on-site testing and measurements for chemical and physical water quality parameters. Labelling, logging and recording samples accurately. Carrying out monitoring checks on equipment and analytical quality control testing. Maintaining detailed and accurate records. Safely transporting samples back to the laboratory for analysis. Representing Bristol Water professionally when engaging with customers and stakeholders. To support the delivery of a continuous safe water supply, you'll participate in a weekend,
