As a Network Services Technical Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the operational teams that keep our water network running smoothly. You will work across programmes such as Smart Metering, Meter Options, and the Lead-Free Bristol programme, helping manage customer enquiries, maintain accurate operational data, and support the coordination of field teams delivering work across the network.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email and supporting first-stage complaint resolution.
  • Managing shared inboxes and work queues to meet response times and service targets.
  • Triaging customer applications and raising work orders within company systems.
  • Coordinating appointments and supporting scheduling of operational field teams.
  • Maintaining accurate data in systems such as SAP and FFA to support operational reporting.
  • Liaising with planners, customer service teams, and contractors to resolve routine issues.
  • Supporting onboarding of new team members and providing guidance on systems and processes.
  • Identifying small process improvements to help the team work more efficiently.

  • Good IT skills and experience using business systems (SAP or similar desirable).
