Purpose Of The Role
To provide strong leadership, operational oversight, and client relationship management across assigned sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving service excellence, supporting growth initiatives, and leading a team of site-based Team Leaders and Cleaning Operatives. This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality services and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive management and continuous improvement.
SALARY: £42,054.59 per annum
HOURS: 40 per week, 5 out of 7 days
LOCATION: Sandy Park, Bristol
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites, ensuring contractual and service level agreements are met.
- Line-manage and support a team of Team Leaders, providing clear direction, performance management, and development and training support.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews to monitor service delivery and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a senior point of contact for escalations, service reviews, and strategic planning.
- Lead client meetings, site inspections, and ensure proactive communication on service performance and improvements.
- Manage contract performance in line with Service Level Agreements and key performance indications
Business Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, service expansion, and new business within the region.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Sales and bid teams to support tender submissions, pricing proposals, and site transitions.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor KPIs, prepare quality and performance reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Resource & Financial Management
- Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and resource allocation across sites.
Essential Requirements For The Role
- Proven experience in an operational or regional management role within the commercial cleaning, facilities management, retail or hospitality sector
- Strong track record managing multiple sites and leading teams across dispersed locations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills. Solid understanding of cleaning standards, equipment, health & safety compliance, and quality reporting.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication at all levels
- Experience in defining and delivery to annual budgets
- Full driving Licence valid for the UK
