The Role

To drive new business growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers through high‑impact field activity. This role is a proactive new business generator, responsible for securing new commercial contracts. Through direct engagement, prospecting, and relentless local visibility, the Business Development Manager expands the company’s customer base and supports delivery of commercial revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive, field‑based prospecting and local engagement.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed new business sales targets.
  • Manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals that clearly demonstrate value.
  • Identify new opportunities through market insight and collaborate internally to ensure smooth onboarding.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong proactive prospecting capability with confidence in face‑to‑face engagement and cold outreach.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Effective territory planning, time management, and pipeline management using CRM systems.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, pricing, commercial terms, and competitive positioning.
  • Proven success in a field‑based new business sales role, consistently achieving targets through self‑generated leads.
