Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Oncology
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract with Potential for Permanent Role
Location: Bristol Vet Specialists Referrals
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000-£33,000 (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced RVN with a passion for oncology? Bristol Vet Specialists Referrals is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our specialist team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the exciting possibility of a permanent position at the end of the term. You\’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our oncology patients.
What you\’ll do:
- Deliver high standards of patient care throughout their oncology journey
- Assist with oncology examinations and staging procedures
- Administer chemotherapy safely and effectively
- Support sedations and general anaesthesia for advanced diagnostics (CT, ultrasound, biopsies)
- Work closely with our oncology clinicians to ensure seamless treatment plans

- Qualified RVN with a keen interest in oncology
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in handling complex cases and working within a referral environment
- Commitment to patient welfare and client support
