This role is new for SARSAS, and we’d love to work with you to shape what it could look like.
It could involved any combination of the below, as suited to your interests and charity need:
- Attend fundraising events on behalf of SARSAS, to raise awareness and funds or support those who are raising funds, e.g. freshers’ fairs, half marathon cheer stations etc.
- Assist in organising and promoting fundraising events and campaigns
- Help identify and reach out to potential donors and sponsors
- Support with administrative tasks related to fundraising, e.g. database management, thanking donors
- Promote fundraising initiatives through social media and other platforms, e.g. through creating graphics on Canva and scheduling content.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative fundraising ideas

SARSAS
SARSAS (Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support) is the local charity providing mental health and wellbeing support to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.
We work across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Somerset and South Glos, providing a holistic range of services to support survivors. Our service include a helpline, e-support, counselling, specialist support work, group work and much more.
Everything we do is to ensure survivors are listened to, believed and supported.
