What you can expect to be doing:

  • Helping deliver any form of performing arts that you excel and enjoy.
  • Supporting with the set up and pack down of sessions, including cleaning.
  • Motivating young people to participate in individual and group dance/acting opportunities, particularly those who may not have done this before.
  • Building positive relationships with young people across the youth zone.
  • Working collaboratively with the Creative Coordinator and other members of staff to support the delivery of sessions (and if you’re confident enough, to lead!).
  • Supporting young people with a range of different needs.
  • Promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, cared for and valued.
  • Following all safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, and promptly reporting any concerns in line with organisational policies.
