Bristol Rovers is looking for an Academy Goalkeeper Coach to work on a sessional basis across its academy phases and support the development of young goalkeepers.
The Role
You will work flexibly across multiple evenings, with some daytime and weekend sessions, coaching goalkeepers in line with the club’s academy goalkeeping philosophy and methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality coaching to age-group goalkeepers in line with the Academy Performance Plan
- Help goalkeepers set short and long-term goals and Individual Action Plans
- Keep coaching, games and progress records on the FIP (PMA)
- Attend review evenings and build professional relationships with parents
- Assess trialists at training and games and give feedback
- Attend coaches’ meetings, tournaments and trips when requested
About You
- Experience coaching goalkeepers
- Commitment to CPD and FA Licensed Coaches’ Club membership
- Able to work evenings, with some daytime and weekend sessions
