Position Summary The Regional Medical Market TA Lead is a critical leadership role ensuring and enhancing collaboration and partnership between WW Medical, R&D and our countries/regions across the globe. The TA Medical Market Lead (MML) is both a liaison and a catalyst working with WW and the markets to drive alignment with a cohesive focus to deliver globally on our assets, disease, and medical strategies and objectives. The incumbent will leverage capabilities and expertise to drive business objectives, resolve business matters, and optimize opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Global & Local (G&L) strategic integration by representing non‑core market needs, translating global direction into actionable regional plans, and ensuring country insights meaningfully shape AIMS and Global Medical strategies.
  • Partner closely with MPLs and global cross functional working groups to ensure AIMS deliverables and disease area priorities are consistently executed across markets.
  • Serve as the central liaison between WW Medical and Medical Leadership in markets and business leaders in the region ensuring aligned communication, coordinated execution, and timely escalation of needs, risks, and strategic priorities.
  • Lead visibility and prioritization of market level evidence gaps as a key driver of Evidence Generation, guiding markets through NIR and IEP related processes, informing Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP), and steering regional discussions to ensure local evidence needs are fully reflected in medical plans.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborative studies and engage with innovative platforms, engaging WW Medical, MEG, Scientific Collaborations & Alliances, Digital Health, and other stakeholders to expand evidence generation impact.
  • Drive cross market scientific collaboration by connecting local teams with WW Medical, facilitating best practice sharing, harmonizing implementation, and removing market roadblocks to enable seamless medical execution across regions.
  • Understand and anticipate market and regional launch needs, synthesizing risks and opportunities, informing launch readiness governance, and resolving execution issues in partnership with global and local teams.
  • Collaborate on lifecycle management strategies by identifying data gaps, informing prioritization, and ensuring market insights align with WW portfolio planning.
  • Foster strong cross functional relationships (Medical Communications, Commercial & Access, FME, MEG, HEOR) to ensure cohesive medical strategy execution and consistent engagement with regional and global partners.
  • Promote cross functional collaboration, inclusiveness, and budget accountability in partnership with medical and commercial stakeholders to optimize delivery of medical objectives across markets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD); 10+ years of relevant bio‑pharmaceutical industry experience; broad knowledge of TA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Research and Drug Development, including RWE, with the ability to communicate data impactfully.
  • Experience in program and project management, including defining key deliverables, tracking milestones and budget, and informing business tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated success delivering results and leading strategically in a matrix environment and various business situations.
  • Strong strategic mindset with analytical skills, with an understanding of global dynamics, environment, and key markets.
  • Ability to influence across a matrix, with emotional intelligence, curiosity, and skills in proactively building and maintaining key relationships.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving and increasingly complex environment.
  • Strong cross‑cultural communication skills and the ability to adapt strategies to different audiences across multiple markets.
  • Expectation to be 20-30% in the field/travel.
